The 247 Boutique Hotel Right in located right at the middle of the Soi honey and very close by to the bar districts Soi Buakhao & Soi LK. Festival mall is about 5 minutes walking distance and 10 from Pattaya beach. This is a new and relatively small hotel, very friendly welcome from staff on arrival, quick check-in & check-out. Amenities include a nice little pool and gym opened until 8PM at the rooftop level. I stayed in one of their Deluxe rooms, not the biggest but clean and modern with see-through glass panel to the bathroom, sofa just besides the comfy bed, air-conditioning is cold and WiFi signal worked fine, would stay here again and can recommend. Have a look above for the pictures I have personally took during my stay of the room and hotel amenities.
529/52 M.10 Soi11 Pattaya sai2 Road, Chonburi, Central Pattaya, Pattaya, Thailand
The April Suites is a very well-run hotel hidden 110 meters from 2nd road down a narrow dead end street that gets very little traffic noise. Location is quite good for Central Pattaya, the beer bars enclaves of Soi 6, 7 & 8 can all be reached within a 10 minutes walk including beach road. The hotel is managed by a Chinese owner (who also owns sister hotels August Suites and March Hotel) who puts a lot of effort on cleanliness and staff training which clearly is paying off as a 4th property, the May Hotel has opened nearby. Rooms are modern and comfortable, though sparingly equipped but at this price it’s one of the best values in town and with everything a monger needs to enjoy his holiday. Hotel facilities include a rooftop terrace with pool, bar, gym and sauna which might not be the largest in the city but is nonetheless very relaxing for a swim and a drink. Staff is very friendly and cooperative, excellent bang for the buck. Have a look above for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.

The Areca Lodge is located on Soi Diana just one block west of Soi LK Metro and two blocks west of Soi Buakhao, so you’ll have lots of beer bars and ago-go in the area. Due to popularity over the years the hotel has enlarged into 3 wings, latest is the Evergreen building where I stayed this trip. Grounds at the Areca Lodge are massive and beautiful, everything inside of the hotel is kept perfectly clean. Amenities include two marvelous pools, a great place to chill during the day, their Blue Ocean café pool bar and restaurant offers delicious food and there’s always plenty of staff around to get your drinks. Stayed in their Deluxe room, which is furthest one from the entrance and therefore very peaceful and quiet at night far from the noise of Soi Diana, found it to be excellent, spacious and bright, all the modern amenities needed, big flat-screen TV, AC is powerful and quiet, bathroom was small and had no separate shower, just bath over shower, the WIFI worked very good, lots of electrical outlets. Very nice place to stay if you don’t need to be right nextdoor to Walking street. Have a look above […]

The At Mind Premier Suites is the latest addition to the popular @Mind group in Pattaya. Hotel is modern and very nicely designed, location can be a bit tricky at first as it’s located down a little alley way 200 meters from Central Pattaya road but once you do get to know your way around the area, you can hit Pattaya Secondary road & Soi 7 in about 10 minutes walking distance or the beach and Soi 6 within 15 mins. I have to say I was really impressed with their rooms, they really deserve their Certificate of Excellence rating on Trip Advisor. The Deluxe room I booked was super modern and came with all the amenities of a studio apartment: Comfy queen size bed, kitchenette with big fridge and washing machine, living room area with a 40-inch LED-TV and couch, well equipped bathroom with both tub and walk in shower, solid wi-fi signal, silent AC. Basically everything you could need for at a very low price tag. Hotel does feature a pool (although a bit on the small), gym and sauna. 85/85 Central Pattaya Soi.12 Moo9 Nongprue District, Central Pattaya, Pattaya, Thailand
The At Mind Serviced Residence has a few things going for it, a quiet location just 5 minutes walk from the nightlife of Soi 6, a very relaxing and tranquil swimming pool area surrounded by well kept gardens, great gym/sauna and modern suites/apartments with ample storage for a long stay. The accommodations are quite spacious with their smallest studio units starting at 45sq.m which should satisfy most, I gave a try at their 1-Bedroom Suite this time around which are even bigger at 60sq.m and offer loads of space. Amenities include a large walk-in dressing room with hanging space and electronic safe that makes it easy to keep the place tidy, kitchenette with large fridge/freezer, 2 LED 32-inch TV’s (one for the living room, the other is found in the bedroom) and a balcony overlooking the pool. Overall cleanliness was great, staff are all very nice, no problems with your overnight guests, a breeze to check them in and out, can definitely recommend. Have a look above for the pictures I have personally took during my stay of the room and hotel amenities.
99/1-2 Moo 9, Pattaya Second Road, Banglamung,, Central Pattaya, Pattaya, Thailand
The August Suites is a lovely little hotel with a good location within Central Pattaya, just a minute walking distance from the junction of 2nd road and central road. it’s also conveniently set back from the main road on a quiet cul-de-sac so you are well insulated from the noise, very close to the entrance of Soi Buakhao and maybe 5 minutes from the beer bars of Soi 7 & 8. Hotel is kept spotlessly clean, on the 2nd floor there is a cozy pool and bar area with a little Jacuzzi, drinks are reasonably priced at around 50 baht for a beer, also found on the same floor are a lounge area to take in the sun, sauna, gym and pool room. Rooms are clean and spacious starting at 40 sq.m for the cheapest category, all of them have a balcony, I suggest trying to get a pool side room if possible. Beds are large and quite comfy, fridge offers plenty of storage space, LED-TV offered an abundance of movie channels for downtime from wich you can watch from the nice little 1-seat sofa, bathroom is above-average with separate tub and glass-enclosed shower, great water temperature and pressure, lots […]

Great location just 2 min walk to beach road, 5 mins to walking street. Nice and secured place to stay, modern design in the rooms with a very decent layout though a little on the smaller side if you go for the cheapest category. Beds are very comfortable beds, not too soft neither too hard, rooms have a small balcony and a place to sit on the side of the bed, Hotel Amenities include a small pool on the third floor and loungers on the roof with views over the Baywalk area and beach road. Staff and security are very professional, good hospitality & overall cleanliness. Have a look at the pictures I took of the room and Aya Boutique Hotel Pattaya below. What you see below are the actual pictures I took when staying in their Deluxe room
555/54 Moo 10, Pattaya Beach Road, Chonburi, 20150 Pattaya Central, Thailand
Very well priced no-frills 2.5 Star hotel in a desirable location, on quiet soi just off the beach. Rooms aren’t exactly luxurious but they are spacious and kept very clean and include a full size fridge offering modestly priced minibar selections. Bed was a little to hard for my taste, There is a balcony with a sink, amenities is a small pool area which looked nice enough but I didn’t use. No lift. The one negative is that rooms did not have blackout curtains. Staff is very friendly and competent.
216 Moo 10 Soi Pattaya 11 Beach Road Pattaya Chonburi, 20150 Pattaya Central, Thailand
The Basaya Beach Hotel and Resort is located in Central Pattaya right across from the beach, the settings are quite nice with lots of greeneries and a big pool. This property tends to offer good rates all year long for a reason, It’s dated, and by dated I mean 40+ years old dated, most probably the oldest, still standing resort along Pattaya beach road. Originally built in 1964, it definitely lacks sparkle and is a bit rough round the edges in some parts, especially with the standard rooms, which are in need of intense renovation. The common areas are also old but well kept, The pool and gardens are very inviting and seem well looked after, the deck furniture on the other hand could do with an overhaul. Most rooms are on the ground floor and have dated furniture, TV needs updating to flat-screen, wifi is non existent or just tolerable in the rooms and there’s only a single electrical outlet available but well, you can’t expect much for the price and prime location. Popular mostly with older Farangs, could be an option if you don’t plan to spend much time in your room. Only real issue is the cheapest […]

The Bayview Hotel Pattaya is located smack in the center of Pattaya Beach, just meters from the beach beside Beach Road. This is an older property built some 35 years ago but been upgraded many times
310/2 Beach Road, Pattaya City, Cholburi, 20150 Pattaya Central, Thailand
The Baywalk residence enjoys a great location on Beach road and is quite close to Walking Street. The rooms were decent size and kept clean.
555/5 Moo10 Beach Road, Banglamung, Chonburi, 20150 Pattaya Central, Thailand
The Beach Front Resort enjoys a great location just opposite from Pattaya beach on the north side of the Pattaya Beach. Amenities are minimum, no pool or gym but the rooms are nice and cleaned daily
124/1-3 M.9 Soi 4, Beach Road, Pattaya, Banglamung, Chonburi, 20150 Pattaya Central, Thailand
The Bella Villa Prima Hotel is pretty new, located on Soi 4 it’s a little way away from central Pattaya but just 2 minutes walk from Beach Road and the beer bars of Soi 6. Room was spacious room with pool view, quiet with no noise from outside.
138 M.9 Pattaya soi 4 Road, Nongprue, Pattaya, Banglamung, 20150 Pattaya Central, Thailand
The Best Beach Villa is located at the quieter end of Pattaya some 200 metres from the beach and a similar distance from Soi 6. Rooms are spacious and tidy and do the job, although the decor is a little tired.
362 Moo 9, Soi 5, Nongpue, Banglamung, 20150 Pattaya Central, Thailand
The D Hotel is an all new property that’s been getting rave reviews since it opened in 2016 so I decided to check it out this December 2017. Location wise it’s perfect, since it’s hidden down a quiet alley you won’t be getting any problem sleeping at night. At the same time it’s only 50 meters from Soi Buakhao and its nightlife, from where a quick 5 minute walk across Soi New Plaza gets you to Pattaya’s 2nd Road, with all the beer bar action of Soi 7 & 8 on the other side of the street, just 6 mins to CentralFestival mall, 10 mins walk straight to the beach or Soi LK Metro, direct access to the baht bus when you need to get to Walking street or Soi 6 quickly. Booked their cheapest Standard category, prices are very reasonable and the room is still quite sizable at 32 sqm. Amenities include a comfortable King sized bed, sofa, table and chairs, 32-inch LED TV with a good selection of English channels, quiet A/C unit with separate fan, large mini-bar sink opposite to a sink area, average WiFi signal, large electronic safe that could fit a 15-inch laptop, bathroom with walk-in shower, […]

Drinking Street is a open-air beer bar complex found in North Pattaya on the corner of 2nd road and Soi 1, directly opposite from the Tiffany Ladyboy Cabaret show. Despite of it’s out of the way location, Drinking Street has managed to grow over the years from a tiny little enclave made up of a handful of hut style bars to a large open-air stadium sized complex of 20+ bars. Drinks here are quite a bargain compared with the prices of Walking Street, though there are a little more expensive at the bars at the front of the complex than in the middle or back. there’s a good overall chilled atmosphere, quite a pleasant place to drop by the evening for having a few cold beers and chat with friendly bar staff. There’s an abundance of pool tables and the ladies will be happy to have a game with you. One of the cool things about Drinking Street is there is a central DJ playing music for the whole complex so there is no overly noisy music blaring from each bar trying to compete with eachother. Definitely worth a visit worth a visit 9pm upward if you end up at the […]

The Bella Vista Hotel & Residence is a clean budget 2-star hotel located between Soi 8 & 7, known for it’s many beer bars, Rooms are tired but kept clean. Plenty of sounds from the nearby bars until at last 1 am due to the live bands playing.

The KTK Regent Suite is a new property with a classic decor located in a quiet alley with no noise about 5-10 minutes walk from 2nd road from which the hotel also provides 24 hour complimentary shuttle service, Soi 6 right around the corner. Hotel amenities are quite good, you have 2 pools (indoor & exterior),a gym, mini golf and restaurant with offers a menu à la carte & buffet, staff are helpful and always with a smile on their face. Suites are very spacious starting at 57 m² with a superb set amenities for the cost: Huge King size bed, comfortable couch from which you can enjoy a boat load of channels the 42-Inch Flat screen TV, kitchenette/dining area with massive fridge and essentials such as microwave, bottle opener and glasses, well designed bathroom with separate walk-in shower and bathtub large enough for two, The balcony is not the biggest in size but has ample space for two people to sit on. Overall, very satisfied with my stay at this new Pattaya property, can recommend! Have a look above for the pictures I have personally took during my stay of the Junior Suite room and hotel amenities.
352 Moo.9 Soi Pattaya Klang 12, Central Pattaya, Pattaya, Thailand
The KTK Royal Residence is located in quiet area less than 10 minutes walk away from Soi 6, while it’s just slightly out of the way from the main central Pattaya area (Soi 7 is around 15 mins walk) the hotel operates, for those who wish, a free and efficient 24-hours Tuk Tuk service that will get you to any of the main roads. The KTK chain offer great accommodations, stayed both in the KTK Royal Residence and their KTK Regent Suite wing in the past. Really nice rooms, lovely soft king size bed, modern appliances and furnishings, comes with one sofa or comfy chair set, big 42-inch TV, work desk area, kitchenette corner with big fridge, table with chairs and a small balcony, housekeeping works very hard at keeping the place clean. Hotel amenities include two pools, both indoor and outdoor (more for cooling off than laps but nice nonetheless), a sauna, restaurant, gym and small indoor putting green if you want to try out your putting skills. Really good value for money, can understand they getting TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence award, highly recommended! 352/4 Moo 9, Soi Pattaya Klang 12 (Soi AR), Central Pattaya, Pattaya, Thailand
The 1st thing that will strike you, if you aren’t accustomed to the LK Metropole and LK Group of hotels in Pattaya is the decor, it’s a gaudy take on Victorian & renaissance styles. But once you get adjusted to the furnishing, the hotel is actually quite nice for the rate. At 46 sq.m the studios are definitely bigger than your average Pattata hotel room, housekeeping is great and all the staff are very friendly and professional. The pool area is not very big but adequate for a quick dip to cool off from the heat and there’s plenty of lounge chairs to relax in.
33/35 M.10, Soi Metro, Second Pattaya Road, Banglamung, 20150 Central Pattaya, Thailand
The LK Royal Suite is conveniently located right on Soi Buakhao, making most of Central Pattaya’s nightlife (Soi 7/8, Soi LK Metro & Soi Diana) and attractions (beach & central festival mall) easily accessible within a 5 to 10 mins walk. The Royal Suite is one of the LK group’s older properties, which have made a name for themselves in the city by offering vintage European themed hotels with larger than average rooms at very competitive prices. While the hotel could do with some TLD and is a bit lower standard than sister hotels such as the LK The Empress, LK Metropole or LK Residence nearby, the Royal Suite nonetheless still offers some good bang for your buck. The main building is the all suite part of the hotel, where the most expensive and generous size rooms are located. The cheaper standard room wing, of which you see my pictures in above are located in the adjacent building just next door. First impressions quite positive: At 36 square meters, even the cheapest category didn’t feel cramped, bed is very comfortable, 40-inch TV offers a wide selection of international channels (ex: Cinema 1 and Cinema 2 shows good movies 24/7), small […]

240/1 Moo 10, Soi 12 Beach Road, Pattaya, Chonburi, 20150 Pattaya Central, Thailand
March Hotel is the newest hotel managed by a Chinese owner with a few other popular hotels in the area: The April Suites, August Suites and now opened newer May wing. Location is a bit off the beaten track down a little side street, about 150 meters away of the Pattaya 2nd road and Pattaya central. Depending in which direction you are headed from here, a 10 minutes leisurely stroll should get you to either Soi 6, Soi 7, Central festival, Soi Buakhao or Pattaya beach. Hotel itself was quite good, I’d even go as far to say currently one of the best hotels in this price range and slightly superior to their sister hotel April Suites, as rooms the are bigger in size and have more up-to-date facilities. I gave a try at their Deluxe category, ended up in the newer May wing. First impressions quite were good, definitely feels spacious enough at 28 square meters, rooms don’t have much in the way of decorations but all the essentials are provided: Comfy king size bed, decently sized 40-inch LED TV TV with a good range of English speaking channels, a large fridge offering plenty of storage space, silent operating […]

The Page 10 is located right at the center of Soi 10, a reasonably quiet Soi with a beer bar complex at the top. At 44 sq.m the Studio rooms offer more space than your average Pattaya hotel and have a great big bed and and bathroom.
365/3 Moo Soi 10, Nongprue, Banglamung, Chonburi, 20150 Pattaya Central, Thailand
The Pattaya Blue Sky is a brand new hotel that offers Excellent value on Soi 5, just 5 mins walk from Soi 6 and Pattaya beach. Rooms are spacious and come with a balcony. Housekeepign does an excellent job keeping everything spotless.
235/4 Beach Road Soi 5, North Pattaya, 20150 Pattaya, Thailand
The Penthouse hotel is definitely not your typical or traditional hotel by any standards, the adult decor throughout is erotic and sexually explicit. Setting foot in the lobby area is a bit like entering an upscale brothel, there are many exotic and strange areas within the hotel, attached to it are two go-go bars which provides all sort of fun, one for girls and another for ladyboys in all safety, amenities include two swimming pools: One outdoor pool with a relaxing terrace and another in the basement which is great for night time partying. I stayed in one of their Party Patpong category and just to state a few of the “room extras” were full-length wall and ceiling mirrors around the bed, dancing podiums with lights & stripper poles, jacuzzi tub an adult “exercise” swing, 50-inch screen LCD-TV with adult movies, mood lighting, etc. Perfect for nighttime debauchery. Location is on Soi Pattayaland 2, just 50 meters from the beach and only three blocks from Walking Street. Have a look above for the pictures I have personally took during my stay of the room and hotel amenities.
Soi Pattayaland 2, Pattaya Beach Road, Pattaya, Chonburi, Thailand
Rooms at the Sea Me Spring Hotel are spacious, clean and equipped with modern furniture. Everything looked brand new with the Beach conveniently located just 1 min walk away. Amenities include a great rooftop pool overlooking Pattaya bay.
343/21 Moo 10, Pattaya Soi 10, Pattaya 2nd Road,, 20150 Pattaya Central, Thailand
The Season Five is a new hotel so the construction is very modern, rooms are spacious with a small sit out balcony, located near Beach Road and Soi 6 with it’s many beer bars.Highly recommended!

The Seven Zea is a small cozy boutique hotel that opened for business in 2012, as it’s just a few years old everything is still in excellent condition. The highlight of the property is their rooftop pool on the 8th floor, complete with infinity edge, sun tanning terrace and bar. Really a great place to soak up the sun and enjoy great views over Pattaya Bay. The rooms, which start at 32 sq.m. are very clean featuring a minimalist modern design with a nice floor-to-ceiling windows. Amenities include minibar is provided along side with 32″ Flatscreen TV, desk and wardrobe. Joiners are very welcomed here and actually the rate to have a second girl overnight is quite acceptable at 300 THB.
225 / 62 M.9 Pattaya Beach Rd. Soi 5, Nongprue, Banglamung, Pattaya, Chonburi, 20150, Thailand
The Siam Bayshore Resort and Spa is is a hidden gem and by far the best option out of all hotels along Walking Street, if you’ve been in Pattaya before you’ve probably walked passed by this resort not knowing just how big the place or of the phenomenal amenities it offers. Definitely more the sort of experience you’d expect to find on a tropical island far far away from the loud nightlife of Pattaya. The Siam Bayshore has two pools, a smaller one just across from walking street with private beach and another at the back of the resort surrounded by lavish tropical garden settings, this being in my opinion the highlight of the resort. The pool is quite large and organized into shallow and deep zones with loads of sun loungers and a bar offering some great downtime Arriving a bit early I was “upgraded” to a Executive Deluxe room which have a older look and feel to them. So word of advice, stick to the slightly cheaper Tropical Deluxe rooms which have been refurbished and are located at the pool side, unless you need to be in the main building with direct access to walking street. What you see […]

Pattaya Soi 6, Muang Pattaya, Amphoe Bang Lamung, Chang Wat Chon Buri 20150, Thailand
With over 80 hostess bars that line up nearly every inch of the street from where Beach Road meets 2nd Road, Soi 7 & 8 make up together one of the biggest and most popular beer bar enclaves of Pattaya. During the day, while many establishments are operational things tend to be quiet and subdued, it’s really only between 5PM & 7PM that the bars start to fill up. By 8PM things are usually in full swing as all the bargirls have shown up for duty at their respective bars and start flirting and drinking with the customers. The ones that aren’t already been taken yet line both sides of the walkway, enthusiastically trying to lure or grab you or passerby’s to join them for a beer, a game of pool or more. While Pattaya are getting more international year after year with the influx of Chinese, Indian, and Middle-Eastern tourists changes have been much slower to take place here and Soi 7 & 8 is generally speaking, still almost exclusively visited by white middle-aged single men. A lot of the bars cater to this crowd and feature bands playing rock hits from the 70’s through to the 90’s era. […]
Pattaya Beach Rd., Soi 7, Muang Pattaya, Amphoe Bang Lamung, Chang Wat Chon Buri 20150, Thailand
Along with Soi LK Metro and Soi Diana nearby, Soi Buakhao is an increasingly popular area among the expat community living in Pattaya. Often unknown to 1st timers, this has been slowly becoming one of the regular hangouts for many regular visitors who travel to Pattaya. Running 1.5 KM long, all the way from South Pattaya road to Central Pattaya Road this area might not be as glitzy as Walking Street but it still offers quite a variety of interesting nightspots to visit, from beer bars to nightclubs, hostess bars, massage parlors, coyote bars and go-go bars. Most of it’s activity goes on around it’s intersection with Soi Diana & Soi LK where bars are tightly packed, while you are sure to get some high noise levels with beautiful bargirls calling out to passersby, the overall vibe is still quite laid back compared to the hectic venues near Walking Street, girls employed by the bars here also tend to be more relaxed and friendlier. Another reason to Soi Buakhao popularity, is that prices are significantly lower than in any of the other main alternatives for a night out in Pattaya. These days a small beer along Walking Street with set […]
Soi Buakhao, Muang Pattaya, Amphoe Bang Lamung, Chang Wat Chon Buri 20150, Thailand
Soi Diana (Officially Soi 13 off Second Road), got it’s name derived from one of the oldest and original hotel that was built on it’s street way back when, the Diana Inn. Stretching some 400 meters long, Soi Diana links Pattaya 2nd road to Soi Buakhao and Soi LK Metro. Taken together, these three streets make up one of the popular entertainment and nightlife areas of Pattaya. Probably the 2rd or 3th biggest in terms of naughty nightlife venues after Walking Street and the beer bar enclaves of Soi 6 & Soi 7/8. There’s all the options one would need for a great night out and everything is within easy walking distance from one another. The main attractions at the heart of Soi Diana are it’s high energy beer bar complex and coyote bars. As you get towards the end of Soi Diana, a little before you exit onto Soi Bukhao, don’t miss the archways that the entrance to Soi LK Metro om your left, this L-shaped street is place is a must see. Walking Street might still be the best place to go in town for go-go bars but Soi LK Metro is the 2nd just right after.
Pattayasaisong 13, Muang Pattaya, Amphoe Bang Lamung, Chang Wat Chon Buri 20150, Thailand
Located a little off the beaten track, LK Metro is new up and coming area of Central Pattaya. Popular among the expat community, this short, 200 meter L-shaped street has seen a dramatic increase in it’s number of go-go bars over the last five years. Located between Soi Buakhao and Soi Diana, this whole area has seen a constant flow of investment and is now one of the fastest growing entertainment districts of Pattaya with many speculating the future of the naughty nightlife scene is set to move inland in an effort from the authorities to clean the image of the city. While there is nowhere near the variety of choices found in Walking Street yet, the Soi LK Metro, Buakhao & Diana area are gaining notoriety and slowly becoming one the established premier nightlife zones of Pattaya. A few things do work in it’s favor, since the place is relatively new the go-go bars are large and modern, the price for the beers is a lot cheaper while the girls are still just as hot, more easy going and usually less pushy with drinks. There a few places in particular that do stand out: Champagne Ago-go, run by a friendly Aussie […]

Listen… I know that just by the name alone might be enough to make many skip right to the next booking option on my list but Tweet Tweet Nest Pattaya Hotel is actually not as bad of an option as it sounds. The property, which has been taken over and totally renovated less than two years ago offers modern and well thought out rooms that start at 50 sq. meters for a very reasonable price. All rooms in the hotel, Superior or Deluxe have pretty much the same design with wood flooring, a comfortable king sized bed at it’s center, not the usual hard mattress most Thai hotels seem to offer, adjustable mood lighting which are controlled through a main control panel next to the bed, large LCD flat-screen TV and great bathroom facilities. Located up a little alleyway in between Soi 7 & 8 so there’s no shortage of beer bars and night venues just at your doorsteps with beach road under a minute walk away, Walking street is around 15 minutes away. Have a look below for the pictures I have personally took during my stay of the Superior room and hotel amenities. What you see below are the actual pictures […]
522/10-11 Moo 10, Soi 8, Nongprue, Banglamung, 20260 Central Pattaya , Thailand
Walking Street is the most famous of party street of all of Thailand and the unrivaled epicenter of Pattaya’s naughty nightlife scene, spanning from beach road in the north to the Bali Hai pier in the south this mile long strip of is an assault on the senses. Packed with hundreds of overlapping neon-lit signs for open air bars, world class nightclubs, live music venues and strip joints you will find here every possible form of adult entertainment. Add to the mix the large beer bar complexes where near-naked hostesses serve the drinks, street entertainers, freelancers lining the street looking for customers, restaurants to suit every possible taste and loud thumping music coming out of every venue you can understand why it is one of Thailand’s most popular tourist attractions. And if you’ve come here to find sexy Thai girls, you’ve hit the motherload! With over 85 Go-Go Bars on Walking Street (without even counting the ones on the many side streets) there are more available ladies than you can shake a stick at. Most ago-go’s will have some of their line up outside to draw in customers but it’s always good to take a peek inside before ordering a drink. Best time to show up if […]

Owned by the same proprietor as the Bayview Hotel found just behind it, The Wave Hotel is a new low-rise luxury boutique hotel with only 18 rooms that has a brilliant seafront location on Pattaya Beach Road. The hotel has an Art Deco inspired design which reminds classic 50’s Miami Beach with it’s pale blue colors and vintage red car up on front. All the rooms overlook the sea and are fitted with balconies providing panoramic views over beach road. These are maintained impeccably, decor is quite stunning with an unique a mix of where modern meets retro furnishings, certainly not your usually, run-of-the-mill hotel room. The pool area is laid back and very relaxing, staff are incredibly friendly where complimentary drink refills and food is served without asking. Overall, Through it’s innovative theme and combination of art, design, and function throughout the Wave Hotel certainly rates itself several notches above any other of the boutique hotels found in the area. Have a look above for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.

The Adelphi Pattaya is a newly built hotel located a quiet little side street that links Soi Buakhao (220 m away) with Pattaya 3rd Road just 5 minutes walk from Soi LK Metro. Ideal place for those who enjoy the Central Pattaya nightlife but a little out of the way for those who want to base their activities around the beach (15 mins walk away) and Walking street (25 mins). Property is very well managed and kept immaculate throughout, rooms are modern and bright, beds are very comfortable, which if you’ve traveled Southeast-Asia Asia for any amount of time know this is far from always true, flat-screen-TV offers a good selection of channels, Wi-Fi is fast, great A/C unit, large fridge for your drinks, electronic safe of good size, nothing much to complain about the room amenities here. Only downside I could think of is the water temperature is not always consistent when in the shower, sometimes a little too cold or too hot. The swimming pool area on the 8th floor roof top is quite nice and gets sunlight all day long, daily happy hour 2 for 1 drinks are served from 5PM until 8PM at the pool bar. […]

The Amari Nova Residences is a very neat guest friendly 4-star apartment hotel that offer a wide range of accommodations to suit everyone’s needs. Location is a little out of the way from Walking Street but not far from the Soi 6 area, a 10 min (max) walk away, getting to the beach or Soi LK metro takes a little longer, 15 to 20 mins but is still a viable walking option. They offer a Free Shuttle service to the beach Road and Walking Street but no return service is offered. The residences are modern, in a black and white theme and furnished to a high standard, you will find here everything you could ever need, including a full sized kitchen with plenty of space in the fridge to stock up on drinks, washer machine/dryer, lounge area with flat-screen TV, another TV set is found in the bedroom, fantastic air-conditioning (2 units). Hotel facilities include a nice roof-top pool area with big lounge chairs with sun umbrellas. Staff are great and very helpful, On a few occasions I had 2 girls back at the same time overnight and not once was I charged extra. In the end a great little […]

Hotel Baraquda is conveniently located on 2nd Road, amidst the bustling nightlife and only a short walk from the beach, all the fun is basically just a few steps away. The area in which this new MGallery property shines involves their superior customer service and friendliness. From the moment you enter their ocean themed reception area and meet with the friendly staff, you realize you are in a truly in good hands. Greeted with a smiling face, a beautiful girl will take over the check-in procedure while another leads you to the comfortable lounge area, offering you a welcome drink as all the documentation is swiftly taken care of. The decor and facilities are excellent, one of the most noticeable things that will catch your eye is the cleanliness in which the property is kept, surroundings are immaculate. Rooms are quite large and beautifully designed, the bed is definitely not your usual rock-hard Thai mattress, linens very conducive to sleep. The only downside is that some wear and tear is starting to show on the furniture, especially in the lower tier rooms. Management is aware of the problem and has started the refurb process. Swimming pool area is exceptional, a […]

With a central location right at the heart of Pattaya along the beach, the Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya offers you a sense of wonderful seclusion and comfort when you need it. The pool is amazing and massive, with a variation of both tile pool with swim up bar, Jacuzzi and plenty of cushioned lounge chairs to relax in and a sand based area complete with cabanas that you can rent for the day. When you do chose to leave the premise it’s within easy walking distance to the beer bar enclaves of Soi 6,7 & 8 and the CentraFestival mall. Walking street is a good 20 minutes walk but you can just hop on any bath bus on beach road and be there in less than 5 minutes. Hotel amenities are great and, the staff were genuine and provide excellent service, like other themed hard rock hotel they feature great music, lots of music memorabilia is on display, great atmosphere, great decoration, live bands are very good and have quite the personality. What really rocks is that the Hard rock is guest friendly and allows a joiner per day free of charge, more is charged at a rate of 1,200 […]

If you are looking for the best hotel Guest Friendly Hotel in Pattaya that money can buy, then look no further. Yes the rates might be a little costly but the Pattaya Hilton is a 1st class hotel with an unbeatable location right at the center of beach road, it’s sophisticated, beautiful and chic. Their infinity pool is spectacular, the rooftop bar and restaurant, 34th floors above the beach offers unparalleled view over the bay and city, drinks was fantastic, dining is delicious, service is flawless, staff are knowledgeable and friendly, always wearing a big smile on their face even past midnight, basically every amenity that you could want in an upscale hotel is offered here. Sea-view rooms are absolutely worth it with the beds facing the ocean, balcony comes with your own private Jacuzzi, floor-to-ceiling doors that stretch almost the entirety of the room, definitely one of the most beautiful room I have had the chance to stay in Thailand to date. So if money is no issue, well this is as good as it gets. Have a look above for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.

The Holiday Inn Pattaya is located along the quieter, Northern end of the 3KM long Beach Road strip. Although Walking Street and most of the city’s nightlife are found at the opposite end, transportation is a breeze since baht buses stop right outside of the drive and for 10 THB will take you anywhere along beach road. The Holiday Inn Pattaya comprises two modern high rise buildings, while all rooms get partial views over the Gulf of Siam, the ones in the Bay tower have the best balcony panoramic views over the city and ocean. To be frank, staying at a Holiday Inn in North America or in Europe has never been much of an eventful experience, I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised with the level of quality here in South-East Asia, reception area is bright and tastefully decorated, infinity pool layout overlooking the seafront is gorgeous, staff are extremely pleasant and helpful, buffet breakfast is outstanding. I stayed in the executive tower, room itself was very clean, modern, bed, linen, pillows and duvet were very comfortable, tastefully furnished a sofa and footstool. Overall I can recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quieter beachfront location […]

Hotel Vista enjoys a nice and quiet location along soi 4 in the northern part of central Pattaya, just 220 m from the beach. Atmosphere is very relaxed in this part of town, excellent option for those who like to base themselves near the beer-bars of Soi 6, just 5-6 minutes walk away. Nicely designed hotel with a beautiful salty-water swimming pool secluded up front of the hotel, nice pool side bar and sauna. Can definite recommend the grilled seafood buffet with unlimited beer, wine, soft-drinks including Fresh river prawn, scallops, salmon, mussels mixing Japanese, Thai, Korean & American cuisine. Room are clean and modern, the Club Luxx category have lovely balconies overlooking of the pool area, comfortable bed with nice linen and pillows, mood lighting, widescreen TV, mini bar well stocked, excellent air con, some wear and tear could be noticed in the room but nothing major, property opened in 2008. No joiner fees for overnight stay, so popular with single guests. Have a look above for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.

I’ve stayed at the Intimate Hotel, formally known as Tim Boutique quite a few times over the years and it has always left me a good feeling. location is very central so you can get most places just in a short walk, Soi Diana is just around the corner, 10 minutes max gets you to the beach and Walking Street is maybe 15 minutes away. Deluxe rooms are decently sized and kept clean and tidy, bed is comfortable, flat-screen TV offers a decent range of channels but nothing out of the ordinary, plenty of storage space but small safe which won’t fit any laptop over 12-inch in size, good amount of free power outlets, could charge up to 4 devices simultaneously. The bathroom is equipped with a large bath that doubles as shower with plenty of hot water and decent pressure, usual set of toiletries (soap, shampoo, shower gel etc.) are provided. Hotel has a nice little rooftop pool with a swim up bar and jacuzzi, great place to chill out.Have a look above for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.
397/42 Moo 10 Pattaya second road, Nongprue, Banglamung,Chonburi, Central Pattaya, Pattaya, Thailand
The LK President is new hotel that’s recently been opened in 2016, this high rise is quite easy to find as it’s one of the tallest buildings in the area. Like with all the other hotels of the LK branch, they aim to make the design very palatial and grand with marble tile floors and 20 foot ceiling. Location on 3rd road could be a letdown for some, but it’s actually not that bad and even quite central once you get acquainted with the neighborhood, as Soi Buakhao, Soi Diana & Soi LK are just 5 minutes walk away. Amenities include a swimming pool, which is relatively small and located at the ground floor, a sauna and a basic gym with all you need to do some light exercise. Rooms again are your typical LK style, old fashioned but spacious, furniture was new and of good quality, room control center next to bed, bed itself was super comfy, flat TV offers a wide variety of channels, really nothing much to complain about, bathroom good, plenty of hot water available for the shower, try and ask for a room on the highest floors they offer some spectacular views. Have a look […]
340/63 Moo 9, Pattaya 3rd Road, Central Pattaya, Pattaya, Thailand, 20150
The LK Renaissance (which now has been re-branded as the LK Renaissance) enjoys a prime location on Soi Diana with most of Central Pattaya’s nightlife nearby, this is currently one of my favorite areas to base myself, vibe is laid-back, making it a great place to start your evening but also a very strategic option for those who like to do everything on foot, just 3 minutes walk to LK Metro, 5 mins to Soi Buakhao and under 10 mins to the beach, Central Festival mall or the beer bar enclaves of Soi 7 & 8, with lot’s of cheap baht buses routes along the way. The hotel is appointed in the distinct LK vintage European style, which might not exactly be the most modern theme out there but what I love about them is quality and comfort found in their rooms. 1st the bedding is always extremely comfortable, so great in fact I literally slept 10 hours straight on the first night on arrival, 2nd there’s the size of the rooms, at 60 square meters my superior room enjoyed about double of the living space than your average Pattaya hotel, then there’s little perks of being geared towards the guest friendly market like the Jacuzzi or whirlpool […]
33/154 M.10 Pattaya City , Banglamung, Central Pattaya, Pattaya, Thailand
The LK Royal Wing is located on dead-end lane about 100m down Soi Buakhao, making it very close to the action but just far enough from the main road to be quiet at night. Lots of nightlife within easy walking distance: Soi 7 & 8 are around 8-10 mins away, while the Soi Diana and Soi LK Metro area can be reached in a 15 minutes leisurely stroll down soi Buakhao. I Gave try at their Studio room and found it very decently sized at 36 sq.m, typical LK chain room furniture which is quite goood, extremely comfortable king size bed, LCD TV with a decent selection choice non-Thai channels and movies, loaded mini-bar, heaps of cupboard space, safe, bathroom with no bathtub but great shower, good selection of toiletries provided, coffee & tea making facilities, many electricity outlets for your electronic devices. Room also has a balcony but the the a/c unit outside blowing hot air at you didn’t make it a very enjoyable stay. The amenities at the LK Royal Wing hotel are quite limited, you will find no restaurant or bar but there’s is a large swimming pool found on the rooftop that gets sun all day. […]

The Mercure Pattaya Hotel is ideally situated smack in the middle of Central Pattaya just 10 to 15 minutes walk from all the main hotspots that the city has to offer, so getting to such places such as: Walking Street, Soi Diana, LK Metro and beach road is really a breeze. A 24-hour tuk tuk service is also offered from the Hotel to Pattaya 2nd and vice versa. Another bonus of staying here is since it’s tucked down a quiet side street you get to enjoy good nights sleep without hearing the constant hustle and noise of the surrounding bars & party goers. The rooms, although not very large are clean and properly maintained, fully equipped with all the usual facilities. I’ve noticed the upper floors had been recently refurbished so try and ask for a higher floor on arrival. The highlight at the Mercure Pattaya is their large pool and bar area, which is bathed in sunshine for several hours each day and will provide you many hours of relaxation on your downtime. Great option for Central Pattaya: Well priced property, nice pool, quiet/handy location, awarded the Certificate of Excellence award by TripAdvisor. Have a look above for the […]
484 Moo 10, Pattaya Second Road Soi 15, Central Pattaya, Pattaya, Thailand
The Nova Gold Hotel is located in a quieter part of town that’s a little off the grid, but really not that far from the action as the walk to Pattaya 2nd Road is around 10 minutes from where you up almost directly en up just opposite from the to the beer bars of Soi 6. Hotel also offers complimentary transportation to and from Central Pattaya Road (nearer to Soi 7) & 2nd road (between Soi 6/1 and Soi 6). The Nova Goldis definitely not the best 4-star category hotel in Pattaya but it is one of the cheapest and offers some excellent value for money. That said, the amenities are quite limited, by staying here you’ll have to live with the fact there there isn’t an in-house restaurant and that you can’t sun-bathe by the pool since it’s on the ground floor and completely in the shade. Guests can, however, use the larger rooftop pool of their sister Amari Nova Suites hotel just 2 minutes away. Rooms are well appointed and all feature a balcony, king size bed (a bit firm, but nothing outside of the usual Thai standards), bathrooms with both bath tub and separate shower, small flat […]
80/166 Moo 9,Nongprue, Banglamung, Central Pattaya, Pattaya, Thailand
If you are looking for a hotel smack in the middle of everything, the Sandy Spring’s prime location on Soi 13 is really hard to beat. Just a 2-3 mins walk gets you to either beach road or Pattaya 2nd road and within less than a 10 minutes stroll you can access all the best than Pattaya has to offer: Walking street, Soi LK Metro, Central Festival and Soi 7&8. While the Sandy Spring will meet most people’s basic need and the staff are wonderful, the majority of their rooms do feel dated and stuck somewhere in the ’90’s which does not make them terribly attractive. Luckily I’ve noticed some renovations have been going on recently and they now also offer a newer category of deluxe and standard rooms that have been remodelled and look much better. Hopefully within a year or two all the rooms go through this process. Hotel amenities include a pool area on the 3rd floor that gets generous amounts of sunshine every day from where you can order drinks and food. The Sandy Spring owner has expanded over the years due to popularity opening the more modern on “Sea Me Spring”, “Sea Me Spring Too” and […]

The Siam@Siam Design Hotel is a trendy new property located a short walk from the beach at the quieter end of Pattaya on Soi 2 that has a lovely sophisticated style and atmosphere running throughout the hotel. Really enjoyed the quirky decor mixing of modern and industrial themes, the bars and restaurant are very funky. Best feature is their sky bar and two rooftop pool areas offering a fantastic 360 degree views over the Pattaya, you could definitely sit here all day to just admiring the stunning view sipping on beer. Every room is uniquely decorated with a modern contemporary design so it’s never exactly like the one next to yours, has a comfy bed and pillows, nice seating area , good selection of entertainment and movie channels, cool & quiet air-con. Has been consistently Awarded TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence year after year. Have a look above for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.
390 Pattaya 2nd road, Nong Prue, Banglamung, North Pattaya, Pattaya, Thailand
The Stay Hotel is conveniently located in the center of Pattaya on the relatively quiet soi 10, just a 2-minute walk from Pattaya Beach and 2nd road. All the popular nightspots are close-by: Soi Diana, Soi LK Metro & Soi Buakhao are within an easy 10-minutes stroll while Walking Street can be reached in a 15 minutes slow paced walk. Hotel is modern and quite nice, rooms are spacious and well maintained, beds and pillows are are a little firm but still comfortable, all the usual amenities were provided: flat screen TV with lots of English TV choices, in room safe, mini bar, reliable wi-fi, plenty of storage space, air-con works very well, Great shower. Most of the rooms face Soi 10 and have a big balcony with a coffee table and 2 chairs overlooking the street. Staff extremely polite and helpful, very easy with overnight guests, good security. Facilities include a pool area on the rooftop with a plenty of sun-beds around and bar service making it a an enjoyable place to relax at or nurse a hangover. I’ve noticed prices have gone up a bit since they got the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence but still a decent value for money. Have a […]
343/20 Moo.10, Pattaya Soi.10, Nongprue, Banglamung, Pattaya Beach Road, Pattaya, Thailand
The Travelodge is a new and modern hotel situated just behind the Avenue mall. Location is quiet and especially convenient for those who enjoy the party scene in Soi Diana, Soi LK Metro & Soi Buakhao which are only a few minutes walk away. The beach and Walking street are about 10 to 15 minutes away respectively. Looking at the price, the Travelodge Pattaya seems like a very good bang for your buck, hotel looks new, they have a great little swimming pool area on the rooftop with a set limited loungers along with a very decent restaurant. The rooms are modern and nicely decorated, everything is kept very clean, Beds are really comfy, same goes with the pillows, air con is very quiet, bathroom has a powerful hot shower. The only issue is that their rooms are all extremely compact at 20 sq.m. so they are not for those who plan to spend any extended time in your room. Have a look above for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities. Awarded the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence 2018.
