The Weekender Resort is conveniently located right on the beachfront and within 5 minutes walking distance from the naughty nightlife of Lamai. Facilities at this upscale 4-star resort are excellent, quiet and spacious surroundings, neat and tidy gardens, fantastic infinity pool with plenty of beds leading straight onto a portion of the beach that is ideal for swimming, gorgeous views from the beach front, restaurant and bar a little on the expensive side. Standard rooms are the furthest from the beach and closest to the street, recommend booking at least the superior rooms, just 10 meters from the pool, higher category is either directly around the pool or with sea-view. Rooms are beautiful, a little dark but modern and clean, great bedding quality, slept like a baby in a completely noise-free environment for my whole stay. Only downside was the WiFi in the room, which was limited to only two devices, other than that a great stay!
