Shock39 Nightclub is definitely not my 1st choice in Bangkok but sometimes when it’s very late at night, all the other bars or clubs have shut down and you still need that “one more drink” it does the job to keep the party going. Expect to meet a mixed crowd of already liquored-up tourists From Nana and Soi 11, expats and average looking freelancers searching to close the deal. Tuk-Tuk and taxis drivers will almost always get you here if you ask them for a disco, sometimes for free since they earn a nice commission for bringing in customers to fill up the place.
Decorated is very minimalist with a large dance floor space at it’s center that is lit up catwalk style with lights made of pinkish & blue tones. The DJ play a bit of everything from trance and house music to hip hop. I’ve noticed over the year it’s gotten more and more popular among the Indian and black community.
