The LK Royal Wing is located on dead-end lane about 100m down Soi Buakhao, making it very close to the action but just far enough from the main road to be quiet at night. Lots of nightlife within easy walking distance: Soi 7 & 8 are around 8-10 mins away, while the Soi Diana and Soi LK Metro area can be reached in a 15 minutes leisurely stroll down soi Buakhao.
I Gave try at their Studio room and found it very decently sized at 36 sq.m, typical LK chain room furniture which is quite goood, extremely comfortable king size bed, LCD TV with a decent selection choice non-Thai channels and movies, loaded mini-bar, heaps of cupboard space, safe, bathroom with no bathtub but great shower, good selection of toiletries provided, coffee & tea making facilities, many electricity outlets for your electronic devices. Room also has a balcony but the the a/c unit outside blowing hot air at you didn’t make it a very enjoyable stay.
The amenities at the LK Royal Wing hotel are quite limited, you will find no restaurant or bar but there’s is a large swimming pool found on the rooftop that gets sun all day. Overall very decent for the price, awarded TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence in 2018. Have a look above for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.
