The Hotel Icon Bangkok is a great new trendy boutique hotel with a brilliant location on Soi 2, totally isolated from surrounding noise but at the same time just a 3 minutes walk from to the hustle and bustle of Soi 4’s Red-light district and maybe 5 minutes away from the entrance of Nana Plaza. Arriving very early in the morning after long international flight I got upgraded to their “Iconic Room” located on the 6th floor just next to the roof top pool and bar area, first impressions were great, very happy with the room, everything is very clean, spacious and modern looking. Rooms is fitted with an LED TV offering a multitude of English and international channel as well as some very strong high-speed Wi-Fi signal throughout the hotel. The Hotel Icon Bangok also has a nice little rooftop pool area offers some very nice views over the Bangkok skyline as there are no high rise buildings directly opposite from the hotel. Therefore if there are only 2 people staying in the room, there will be no extra charges. Should there be a 3rd person sharing the room, there will be an extra charge of THB 800 per night. Very happy with the room, everything is very clean, spacious and modern looking
But of course all this would be of no value if they charged joiner fees so I made sure to test the policy bringing back an overnight guest and am glad to confirm the Hotel Icon Bangkok to be Certified Guest Friendly!
The bathroom offered a large shower area with rain shower, good pressure with warm water that didn’t take forever to arrive. Provided also were a generous amount of hotel brand toiletries provided to guests: shower gel, shampoo, lotion, cotton buds & shaver set

The pool bar with it’s daily 2 for 1 happ hour on cocktails and drinks between 5 & 7pm
A small fitness center is also found on the 6th floor
Rooms have a nice floor to ceiling glass window
Furnishings found in the room are in excellent order.
