The Holiday Inn Pattaya is located along the quieter, Northern end of the 3KM long Beach Road strip. Although Walking Street and most of the city’s nightlife are found at the opposite end, transportation is a breeze since baht buses stop right outside of the drive and for 10 THB will take you anywhere along beach road. The Holiday Inn Pattaya comprises two modern high rise buildings, while all rooms get partial views over the Gulf of Siam, the ones in the Bay tower have the best balcony panoramic views over the city and ocean. To be frank, staying at a Holiday Inn in North America or in Europe has never been much of an eventful experience, I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised with the level of quality here in South-East Asia, reception area is bright and tastefully decorated, infinity pool layout overlooking the seafront is gorgeous, staff are extremely pleasant and helpful, buffet breakfast is outstanding. I stayed in the executive tower, room itself was very clean, modern, bed, linen, pillows and duvet were very comfortable, tastefully furnished a sofa and footstool. Overall I can recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quieter beachfront location with some good levels of comfort. Have a look above for the pictures of the room and hotel amenities.
