The Grand President is a big, old-fashioned Hotel with a great central location right in the thick of Soi 11. A very popular street that comes to life in the evening with plenty of clubs, bars, restaurants, street food and nightlife venues that are just a few minutes away, The red-light districts of Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy are also nearby and can both be reached respectively in 10 and 15 mins walk. Hotel has 437 rooms and comprises three separate towers, reception is found in tower 1, tower 2 is adjacent and tower 3 is just across the road, All 3 towers have their own rooftop pool and restaurant. The Standard rooms are of the serviced apartment type and you could see they had gone through some renovations like a fresh coat of paint recently. While not the most up do date in furnishings the bedroom area had a flat-screen Television with many English speaking channels and a Kitchenette is equipped with a big fridge and microwave, bathroom is clean but could do with little renovation. Soi 11 (which the hotel is located on) is, once the night falls, a hot spot for freelancers and girls working the street so there’s no issues bringing one back to your room, no joiner fees apply to the very guest friendly Grand President Hotel Bangkok

There’s plenty of storage space inside the wardrobe which features a big electronic safe
Bathroom is clean but could do with little renovation as well
You could notice a little mold starting to show up in the bathtub
Rooms were decent not sure they deserve their 4 star ratings
This said for the price in the 40 dollar range and location it ain’t all that bad!
